Product review and feasibility study
| Each project begins with a through understanding of customer needs and specifications. With many years of experience and practical knowledge, our engineers are able to offer all the assistance and necessary information required to create your product and follow its development through onto the production line. Prior to mold design, our engineering team will review customer product design and issue feasibility study report, offering proposals, if any, for improvement of manufacturability, cycle time or part quality. |

Mold design
Our engineering team is experienced at developing HASCO/DME/JIS standard molds, each mold is designed to have the best molding performance and efficient manufacturing and life time, mold design is sent to customer for approval before mold fabrication. We are using the following software to design the molds, including 2D and 3D mold drawings.

Mold Flow Analysis
| It is important initially to have a basic idea of the molding, either in the form of a model or a drawing. At Navitas, all parts and molds are optimised through moldflow analysis software for cooling, injection system, warpage, deflection, optimal molding conditions and other parameters, we model the proposed design to see how it will react in the injection and cooling phases of the cycle. |

Mold testing and sampling
After construction, all Navitas molds are tested and sampling is done to verify the specifications of molds and parts, During the tests, we take down the tool entirely to do a 100% control of all components. Our engineers record molding parameters and conditions. After the tests, mold trial reports together with full dimension repors are provided to the customers. Before mass-production, if necessary, we carry out a trial run production base on mass-production conditions to verify the stability of molds, we have the following molding machines available for mold testing and sampling.

88T ~ 368T machines in house |
 |
50T ~ 1800T machines in mold test factory |

Mold improvement & design change
At times, the molds need certain improvements or modifications after mold trial or during the manufacturing phase, or the customers request a design change. We manage this under a strict design revision policy to ensure that the final design matches the mold exactly, and any revisions are incorpoated in the 2D and 3D mold drawings.
